Highlights from Day Two of Dubai Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2026
Dubai, UAE, 3 September 2025: Dubai Fashion Week’s (DFW) Spring/Summer 2026 edition continued its vibrant showcase last night with a global lineup of designers. Together, the presentations reinforced DFW’s vision as a truly international platform where creativity, culture, and craftsmanship converge.
DFW, the region’s definitive fashion fixture, runs all week until 6 September. The event is co-founded by Dubai Design District (d3), part of TECOM Group PJSC, and the Arab Fashion Council (AFC).
FLTRD
FLTRD opened the second day of DFW with a powerful showcase titled ‘FLTRD Brings Bold Voices and New Perspectives to Dubai Fashion Week’. Featuring ‘ARAD and I AM,’ the presentation highlighted the platform’s commitment to creativity, craftsmanship, and self-expression, while reinforcing its role as a launchpad for emerging talent. By bringing these distinct labels to the stage, FLTRD underscored its vision of cultivating a vibrant fashion community and amplifying diverse voices in the Middle East.
ERICK BENDANA
Erick Bendaña, one of the most influential designers in Latin America, unveiled his SS26 couture collection ‘The Sun and The Moon’, a cosmic journey exploring light and shadow, masculine and feminine, and the eternal dance between day and night. Radiant golden gowns evoked the blazing energy of the sun, while ethereal silver creations reflected the mystique of the moon, culminating in celestial designs adorned with constellations, orbits, and cosmic spirals. Accented by jewellery created in collaboration with Panamanian jeweler Michelle Ferrer and enriched with Nicaraguan cultural heritage, the collection transformed the runway into a universe where fashion became poetry, ceremony, and myth.
FIOLETOWY
Fioletowy Studio made a striking debut at DFW with ‘Elevation’, a collection that married architectural elegance with soulful storytelling. Supermodel and actress Lisa Haydon closed the show as the dazzling showstopper, embodying the collection’s spirit of resilience and transformation. Handcrafted entirely in India from pure silk, the 30-look showcase featured layered panels, asymmetrical tailoring, and cascading ruffles, inspired by the metaphor of climbing staircases. With its blend of artisanal craftsmanship, sustainable practices, and bold design language, ‘Elevation’ marked a powerful new chapter for the globally celebrated Indian label on the Middle Eastern stage.
CHIC & HOLLAND
Dutch couture house Chic & Holland unveiled its SS26 collection ‘300 Hours’, a dazzling tribute to time, craftsmanship, and regal elegance. Each gown—requiring hundreds of hours to create—featured precision-cut crystal embellishments, sculpted corsetry, and silhouettes ranging from dramatic mermaid cuts to timeless princess forms. Inspired by European royalty and baroque grandeur, the collection embodied founder and creative director Faiza Talat’s vision of luxury that celebrates both strength and softness, elevating the runway with unapologetic elegance.
MAISON NOVAGUE
Maison Novague presented its ‘L’Écriture du Corps’ couture collection — a poetic dialogue between art and fashion. Unfolding in a palette of ivory, gold, midnight navy, scarlet, and painterly purples, the collection celebrated quiet confidence through fluid silks, sculpted forms, and refined contrasts of softness and structure. Designed to honour femininity with timeless elegance, each look reflected founder and designer Fariba Pourkhajani’s ethos of strength expressed through simplicity, leaving the audience with an unforgettable sense of boldness and beauty.
Also, as part of the DFW programme, ITA (Italian Trade Agency) x Level Shoes hosted an exclusive exhibition celebrating Italian design and craftsmanship. Italian fashion is centre stage today as well with The Italian Day in Dubai and shows from:
