Dubai, UAE, 04 February 2025:Fashion Futures Dubai, hosted in strategic partnership by Dubai Design District (d3) and Vogue Business, today announced the luxury leaders, creators and innovators who will convene on Thursday, 6 February to propel the dialogue on sustainability within the fashion industry. Regional and international industry mavens such as Manish Malhotra, Ingie Chalhoub and Kunal Kapoor are among the names gracing the region’s inaugural consortium taking place at d3, a global creative ecosystem by TECOM Group PJSC.  

Through insightful panel discussions, interviews, and a fireside chat steered by Vogue Business Contributing Editor Sujata Assomull, speakers will explore the region's emerging fashion opportunity and the urgency of promoting sustainable sourcing and supply chains.  

The event will kick off with an exclusive interview with celebrated Indian designer Manish Malhotra, who is also making his debut at Dubai Fashion Week with a closing showcase. Panel showcases will feature esteemed guest speakers including Fahed Ghanim, CEO of Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle, Faiza Bouguessa, Founder and Creative Director of eponymous brand Bouguessa and Seneca Cottom, Head of Sustainability of Alshaya Group.

Across these thought provoking panels guest experts will discuss how to integrate sustainable practices as new routes emerge, as well as how to embed meaningful moments into marketing and planning in a regionally relevant and authentic way. Together they will also explore the growth in fashion manufacturing across the Middle East and how discourses around identity and pride in homegrown brands are also increasing.  The event will close with a keynote interview with Etoile Group Founder and President Ingie Chalhoub.

Other speakers and panelists during the event will include Jasmina Banda, Chief Strategy Officer of Chalhoub Group; Kunal Kapoor, Chief Executive Officer of The Luxury Closet; Nadine Kanso, Founder and Creative Director of fine jewellery brand Bil Arabi; and Mariam Yeya, Co-founder and Creative Director of Mrs Keepa, a renowned Dubai-based ready-to-wear brand rooted in sustainability    

The summit will also include a dedicated exhibition showcasing pioneering solutions from sustainability innovators spanning manufacturing, supply chain, materials, technology, and customer experience.  

The highly anticipated Fashion Futures Dubai is part of a global series that has already ignited crucial conversations in London, Shanghai, New York, and Tokyo. It takes place alongside the Autumn/Winter 2025/26 edition of Dubai Fashion Week, the city’s official fashion week, running 1-6 February.
