Highlights from Day Four of Dubai Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2026

Dubai, UAE, 5 September 2025: Dubai Fashion Week lit up on day four with a dynamic lineup of showcases that highlighted the diversity and creativity of global design voices, including three Dubai Fashion Week members - Mrs. Keepa, Dima Ayad and Lama Jouni.  Indonesia’s Benang Jarum and Nada Puspita both presented their collections in the presence of H.E. Husin Bagis, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the UAE, in the front row. Jozeph Diarbakrli and XD Xenia Design both made their DFW debuts.

DFW, the region’s definitive fashion fixture, runs all week until 6 September. The event is co-founded by Dubai Design District (d3), part of TECOM Group PJSC, and the Arab Fashion Council (AFC).

MRS KEEPA

DFW Member Mrs. Keepa unveiled its SS26 collection ‘The Getaway’ with an intimate showcase at the iconic Peacock Alley, Waldorf Astoria. True to the label’s bold and feminine DNA, the collection blended crochet textures with fluid tailoring and surreal, nature-inspired details, from mushroom motifs to botanical forms. Earthy tones contrasted with iridescent accents, while architectural silhouettes balanced softness and strength, reaffirming Mariam Yeya’s signature vision of freedom, wanderlust, and individuality.

DIMA AYAD

Dima Ayad, also a DFW Member, unveiled her SS26 collection yesterday afternoon at Skooni, presenting a body-positive celebration of effortless glamour.  Known for her inclusive approach to fashion, Ayad showcased fluid silhouettes, metallic sheens, and statement draping that seamlessly blended comfort with high-impact style. The collection reaffirmed her commitment to designing for every woman, exuding confidence, elegance, and modern femininity.

BENANG JARUM

Benang Jarum presented its SS26 collection ‘Opulent Bloom’, a powerful tribute to florals reimagined not merely as symbols of delicacy but as bold declarations of power and identity.  With flowing silhouettes, intricate detailing, and a palette that echoed the richness of blossoms, the collection celebrated femininity as both soft and strong, reaffirming the brand’s contemporary elegance with a statement of confidence and individuality.

NADA PUSPITA

Nada Puspita also showcased its SS26 collection ‘Lace Poem,’ presenting a thoughtful exploration of silhouettes, colours, and textures - each crafted with intention and meaning. The collection celebrated women’s power and presence, with a vibrant palette of mustard yellow, burgundy, blue, and pinks, blending delicacy with strength in every design.

JOZEPH DIARBAKERLI

Marking his DFW debut, Jozeph Diarbakrli’s SS26 showcase at DFW brought to life the dramatic, glamorous world of Hollywood’s most iconic women.  Each look acted as a costume for a woman playing herself - from powerful to the unapologetically fabulous. Structured suiting, sparkling fabrics, and bold silhouettes dominated the runway, transforming it into a stage where models embodied heiresses, muses, and femme fatales, each making a grand, unforgettable entrance. The collection was a celebration of Icons and every piece captured the chaotic allure behind the silver screen’s divas.

XD XENIA DESIGN

Croatia’s XD Xenia Design also made their DFW debut with their SS26 collection ‘XD Couture: The Art of Making Clothes,’ which was a masterclass in architectural elegance.  Drawing inspiration from Kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing with gold, the collection celebrated the beauty of construction, turning seams and structures into visual poetry.  Sculptural silhouettes with exaggerated sleeves, sharply defined waists, and layers of sheer organza created a dialogue between strength and softness.  Anchored in blacks and neutrals, punctuated with jewel-like reds and greens, and accented with metallic details, each piece was both powerful and poetic. Oversized abstract florals and meticulous tailoring emphasised quiet, lasting elegance - garments that move with the body while commanding presence.

LAMA JOUNI

DFW Member Lama Jouni presented a striking closing showcase that masterfully married utilitarian appeal with luxe minimalism.  Her collection stood out with its muted, monochrome palette, delivering a lineup of chic dresses and waist-enhancing separates that exuded both contemporary elegance and streetwear sensibility.  The silhouettes celebrated modern femininity through their versatility and subtle strength, reinforcing Jouni’s signature aesthetic of practicality fused with high-end design.

Also a part of the DFW day four calendar was The Outsiders Perspective dinner, an intimate evening led by Jamie Gill - BArch ACA Strategic Advisor, Founder of The Outsiders Perspective, and Non-Executive Director at the British Fashion Council.  The gathering brought together influential voices from fashion and business to exchange ideas, foster connections, and celebrate diverse perspectives shaping the industry’s future.

DFW continues today with shows and presentations from:

- That Concept Store
- Buttonscarves
- Otte
- Jasper Conran
- Tara Babylon
- FAD Talents / FAD Institute

DFW’s success is possible due to strategic partnerships with leading global brands, including SOUEAST as automotive partner, Dyson as the official hair technology partner, Kiko Milano as the official make-up partner and Waldorf Astoria as the official hospitality partner. The Italian Trade Agency is DFW’s main trade partner, and Meta is its main media partner. Electra and Magnum provide essential support as the production and audio-visual partners, respectively. Additional support comes from OHVU for management services, Fiji Water as the hydration partner, Grow Healthy Food for catering, and Etcetera for additional management services.
