Highlights from day five of Dubai Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2025-26

Dubai, UAE 6 February 2025: Dubai Fashion Week (DFW) completed its penultimate day with a spectacular programme highlighting traditions and craftsmanship from around the world. THAT Concept Store curated a multi-designer showcase fusing fashion and culture, followed by a nostalgic presentation by SaiJamin. Molato took the stage with unique pieces nodding to Morocco’s creative heritage before Les Benjamin made a memorable DFW debut with ‘Altai Turks/Altaicana’ collection.

Co-founded by Dubai Design District (d3), a part of TECOM Group PJSC, and the Arab Fashion Council, DFW wraps up its Autumn/Winter 2025-26 season tonight with a highly anticipated closing show by Indian haute couture icon Manish Malhotra.

THAT CONCEPT STORE

THAT Concept Store brought together a vibrant curation of fashion designers on a shared DFW runway last night. The showcase—a presentation of the Spring/Summer 2025 ready-to-wear collection—featured Hellessy’s refined, minimalist silhouettes, Christopher Esber’s effortlessly chic pieces, Khaite’s luxurious tailoring, and Philosophy’s artful sophistication. Also displayed were bold designs by Giuseppe di Morabito, Studio Amelia, Rock by GS’s street-inspired looks, and statement jewellery by Bil Arabi.

SAIJAMIN

SaiJamin unveiled Adiyuh: Memories and Dreams, a profound tribute to designer Jamilya Afashagova's childhood and her father's influence. Inspired by an old Kabardian song, the collection blended nostalgia and ethereal elements with luxurious silk and jacquard fabrics in hues of blues, pinks, whites, and blacks, capturing the beauty of the Caucasus landscape. Through Adiyuh, the designer intertwined tradition and modernity in a moving tribute to her father and the values of independence, craftsmanship, and emotional connection.

MOLATO

Luxury urban wear brand Molato presented Beldi Beneath the Waves, blending Morocco's rich handwoven artistry with modern couture innovations. Evoking profound cultural pride, 'Beldi' means traditional and handmade in Moroccan Arabic. Each piece captured the ocean's fluidity, motion and reflections, reimagining couture through the lens of authenticity, craftsmanship and innovation.

LES BENJAMINS

Les Benjamins marked its debut as DFW’s inaugural Correspondent Designer. The Istanbul-based luxury streetwear brand introduced the inspiring ‘Altai Turks/Altaicana’ Autumn/Winter 2025 collection to a packed house, drawing inspiration from the ancient traditions and mythology of the Altai people, an indigenous Turkic ethnic group.

BUYERS PROGRAMME

Yesterday marked the end of the Buyers Programme, which provided an intimate environment for designers to present collections to a select group of international buyers. Alongside the runway talent, designers featured included Amer (Lebanon), Amina Galal (Egypt), Bil Arabi (UAE), Born Outside Italy (UAE/Italy), Elise (Kuwait/Paris), Emergency Room (Lebanon), Ilyes Ouali (London), Joanna Laura (Lebanon), Late for Work (Morocco), and Yassmin Saleh (UAE/Lebanon).

DFW is possible due to strategic partnerships with leading brands, including Visa as the official technology partner, Balmain Hair Couture as the official hair partner, Kiko Milano as the official make-up partner, ME Dubai as the official hospitality partner and Electra and Magnum as the production and audio-visual partners, respectively. Additional support comes from Fiji Water as the hydration partner and Bisou as the official lounge partner.
