Arab Fashion Week kicked off at Dubai Design District

 

Dubai, UAE, 25 October 2021: Arab Fashion Week officially kicked off yesterday with a lineup of world class brands, partners and live shows at Dubai Design District (d3), cementing Dubai’s position as a global destination for design, fashion and talent. The four-day event, organised in strategic partnership with the Arab Fashion Council and Hu Management, this year sees the return to a fully physical schedule at d3. 

 

The Arab Fashion Week-Women's Spring Summer 2022 runs until Thursday 28th October 2021 and showcases both regional and international designers from the United Arab Emirates, France, United States of America, Switzerland, Lebanon, Egypt, Iraq, Palestine, Philippines, Colombia, and Poland. Participating brands and designers from these countries include Amato, Euphoria, Ihab Jiryis, Gosia Baczynka, Yara Bin Shakar, Dorota Goldpoint, Autonomie, Weinsanto, Blssd, Glory Ang, Emergency Room, Ester Manas, Zeena Zaki, Michael Leyva, RC Caylan, Poca & Poca and Michael Cinco.

The fashion scene started on Sunday at d3 with the Fashion Icon Awards ceremony. In the presence of fashion celebrities, regional and international media and key players in the fashion industry at the pink carpet gala. The event also saw designer Jeremy Scott present fashion label Moschino’s archive collection inspired by Barbie in tribute to the much-loved doll.
